Ross Brown of Ferrari has confirmed that Ferrari is considering using the 'Tyrrell-Towers' or 'X-wings' system. They wanted to test them before the Argentine Grand Prix, but the ones 'friendly' Sauber use did not fit the car. They are now considering developing their own wings.
Eddie Irvine replaced Luca Badoer at the Ferrari test today. He covered 68 laps before the rain kicked in on the Maranello circuit.
Ralf Schumacher topped the times on the wet Silverstone track. Williams was testing at Jerez.
