The deal, which completed the take-over of Cosworth by Ford, was completed today. Ford was at risk of loosing their Formula One knowledge to Volkswagen because Volkswagen took over Rolls Royce, who owned Cosworth.

Ford stated that they are happy with the take-over. They are now able to work more closely with Cosworth, which can help the development of their Formula One engines.
