The Silverstone circuit celebrates it's 50th anniversary this weekend. Over ten thousand people will be present at the shows and several awards will be presented to the best driver, best car and best team-boss.

The Silverstone track was first introduced in 1948, and was the first track to host the FIA World Championship, back in 1950. The British track have since hosted 32 Grands Prix, all of them - bar the first in May 1950 - have taken place in July.
