David Richards has resigned from his position as chief executive of the Benetton Formula One team today, a spokesman for the team announced. "It is correct that David Richards has resigned, but at the moment we cannot say anything else," commentated press officer Andrea Ficarelli. Currently it is unclear why exactly Richards made his move and who will replace him. Richards himslef became chief executive just less than a year ago, when he replaced Flavio Briatore.
