The FIA World Motor Sport Council today announced its decision concerning alleged breaches by British American Racing of the International Sporting Code and the FIA Statutes.
"We are pleased that the matter is now concluded," commented British American Racing Managing Director, Craig Pollock. "I have apologised to the World Motor Sport Council for any misunderstanding concerning our actions and the team can now focus on its preparations for the next Grand Prix, in Brazil.
"Our cars may not have taken the chequered flag at last weekend's Australian Grand Prix, but I was hugely encouraged by our performance and enormously proud of the whole team. During the four-week break that we have until the next race, we will accelerate our test programme in the quest for even more performance and reliability. As far as I'm concerned, the future looks bright."
