More technical problems surfaced for the Ferrari team today. The Italian team planned to run a complete race simulation with Michael Schumacher, but after doing only half a lap, the German's car stopped with and over-heated engine. It was then decided to use a spare engine, which meant Schumacher had to sit back for another four hours of testing time. When the car was out again, it was only for about six laps, before heading back into the pits to work on setup and aerodynamics. This, in turn, meant another day off for Eddie Irvine, who was scheduled to run a race distance in the second Ferrari.

Both race simulations have been rescheduled for tomorrow. Michael Schumacher will be the first driver out, and if everything goes according to plan Eddie Irvine will do the full run in the afternoon.
