David Coulthard was again the fastest man on the third day of testing in Barcelona. His time today was almost a second faster than Jordan recruit Jarno Trulli and McLaren test driver Olivier Panis while also being the fastest of the test so far.

Pedro de la Rosa improved by more than a second over his previous fastest time to end the day fifth fastest, while at Williams, Jorg Muller replaced Ralf Schumacher, setting a respectable time which was the slowest of the day.
