Thursday June 15th, 2000 Injured Williams driver Ralf Schumacher said on Thursday he was keeping his options open over racing in Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix. Schumacher, who suffered a deep gash to his leg during the Monaco Grand Prix two weeks ago, said he would wait to see how he fared in Friday's practice session. "I will make a decision after I've tried out a few laps in the car," Schumacher said. "It feels okay at the moment but I haven't tested it yet. "I haven't driven a car since the accident so I will have to find out in practice." Schumacher admitted he would pull out of the race if he did not feel 100 percent fit. "I will not race for the sake of it as it wouldn't be the best for the team or myself. If I cannot brake left-footed then it is not worth it. "I don't think the pressure will be the problem but it will be how the leg responds to the bumps of going around corners." If Schumacher opts out of the race Brazilian test driver Bruno Junqueira will make his Grand Prix debut.
