Autosport reports Ferrari are at odds with their new tire supplier Bridgestone over testing. The tire supplier desires to impact testing next year by only giving teams a certain number of tires to use. Autosport also said that Bridgestone have made it clear it will only allow testing at certain tracks at selected times.
Ferrari have rejected this and stated that they will practice when needed at their private track at Fiorano. "They don't want to bring tires to Fiorano, we will go to pick them up," stated Todt.
Ferrari have only signed a provisional contract with Bridgestone. On Monday, Luca di Montezemolo indicated he wanted two assurances from the Japanese tire company, by saying: "One is about the quantity of testing we can do; the other is a long-term contract, at least three years. Everything is set up and we hope to finalize it soon"
