Today at Fiorano, Eddie Irvine began the first of three days testing in preparation for the Malaysian Grand Prix, to be held on 17th October on the Sepang Circuit. The Irish driver began driving at 10:30. In view of the changing weather conditions, today's work revolved around set-up and adjustments depending on which tyres were being used. At the end of the day, the team did some pit stop practice. Eddie Irvine did a total of 60 laps, including those involving the tyre changes. His best time was a 1:02.663. Testing ended at 19:30 and Irvine continues testing at Fiorano tomorrow.
