The weather report from Phuket is not so good today: a stronger wind, less sun, a little rain and slightly cooler temperatures! Even so, Eddie Irvine was up with the birds this morning and raring to play a game of tennis with some of the party, and that's what he did for 90 minutes. A little jogging was aborted due to blisters, so instead, Eddie headed for the pool and a little sunbathing, until the sun disappeared behind the clouds and called an end to that, too.

Tomorrow, Eddie has planned an early start from Phuket in order to arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport by 1pm. Then he was quite a heavy schedule, beginning with a visit to the Sepang kart track with former team-mate Mika Salo and then a press conference with Michael Schumacher, giving details of how he will be tackling Sunday's Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix on the brand new Sepang circuit.
