Ron Dennis, McLaren team boss, told reporters today he believes Ferrari is now a legal car, hinting that following his threat to appeal against the Italian company, they have removed whatever part that was illegal. "We can now see," said Dennis, "that something has changed because we now feel and believe that the system is in accordance with the regulations."

In response, Ferrari's driver Michael Schumacher, visibly upset, rejected any accusation that the team had up until lately any part which was not in compliance to the FIA's rules. "How arrogant can a team or a person be," he told the press in Hungary, "to think they are the only ones that can build a winning racing car."
